Invited to judge Cupertino's Largest Collegiate Hackathon

My First-Ever Hackathon, not as a participant but as a judge.

Today marks a significant milestone in my journey as Anderson Lam Wei Cheng, as I have been bestowed with the privilege of serving as a judge for Cupertino's largest collegiate hackathon, De Anza Hacks 2.0! 🚀 This exceptional event gathered over 120 brilliant students from De Anza College, each radiating with inventive enthusiasm. It was a truly humbling experience to evaluate the creative projects of more than 40 teams, standing alongside distinguished individuals such as Sophia Kim, Alexander Goldberg, Faaris Khilji, and Mary Pape.

As I took my place at the judging panel, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and responsibility. The atmosphere was electric with the palpable energy of innovation, a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication of the participating students. Their passion for technology and problem-solving was infectious, and I found myself immersed in a sea of groundbreaking ideas.

Being a judge at De Anza Hacks 2.0 provided me with a unique perspective, allowing me to witness firsthand the incredible ingenuity that unfolds when talented minds converge. The diversity of projects spanned various domains, from cutting-edge software applications to innovative hardware solutions. It was inspiring to see how these teams tackled real-world challenges with creativity and determination.

Collaborating with esteemed individuals like Sophia Kim, Alexander Goldberg, Faaris Khilji, and Mary Pape added an extra layer of richness to the judging experience. Each member of the panel brought their unique expertise and insights, contributing to the thorough and comprehensive evaluation of the projects.
