Anderson Lam proposed a Drone-based AI Solution for Firefighting at Aerodyne Group.

As the world faces the devastating consequences of climate change, witnessing the destruction caused by wildfires has motivated me to make a difference. During my three-month internship at AERODYNE GROUP, a leader in drone technology and data solutions, Anderson Lam Wei Cheng had the opportunity to contribute to their Global Solution Development Department and work on the cutting-edge drone data platform, DRONOS.

Recognizing the urgent need to address the impact of wildfires, I proposed a comprehensive hardware and software solution. This proposal was the result of extensive market research, analyzing feasibility, case studies, and global statistics on wildfires and firefighter fatalities. The goal was to leverage drone data capture, AI-driven analytics, BVLOS, and cloud-based management to aid in firefighting efforts.

Through this project, I aimed to shine a light on the potential of technology to make a significant positive impact on the environment and human lives. As the fires continue to rage, I am determined to contribute to the development of solutions that can help mitigate their impact, protect communities, and save lives.

Fiat Lux — “Let there be light” — this motto has inspired me to bring forth innovative solutions and utilize cutting-edge technologies to address real-world challenges. I believe that by harnessing the power of drone technology and AI, we can light the way towards a safer, more resilient future for our planet and its inhabitants. I am committed to making a difference in my community and beyond, using my skills and passion to drive positive change in the face of climate change and other pressing global issues. Together, let us illuminate the path to a brighter and more sustainable world.
